outdoor observations

Today was another beautiful day. I identified a new bird (brown-headed cowbird), a new bug (red velvet mite), and found a robin's nest on the ground with two unbroken blue eggs nearby! We're saving it, for now, and I hope I'm not inviting trouble, like Templeton.

Tonight's memorable picture is another one that Adam took. It is a cecropia silkmoth. This is the only one we've ever seen.
