Super Scoopers Dog Waste Removal Service
Will clean your yard weekly
We are #1 in getting rid of #2
Funny because...well...that's just funny. As a social commentary, though, it is sad that there are people who either a) don't have time to clean up after their own dogs or b) aren't responsible enough to clean up after their own dogs.
2) I guess this isn't really funny, but it is blog-worthy. We made soft pretzels on Friday. Teresa got very creative. Unfortunately, I think her pretzel shapes are a snapshot of the way things are around here...although they shouldn't be:
You'll notice the centerpiece is daddy driving his car. Down in the left hand corner you'll see what started out as a tulip, but ended up being a "mom, yelling at her kids"...complete with hands on hips. So, dad is always gone - driving away in his car; which leaves me at home, yelling at the kids*. It is a sobering reflection.
(*When I asked why the mom was yelling, Teresa replied, "...because the kids are disobeying." So, we prayed that Mary would help mom to be more like her; and that she would help the kids to obey - the way she did when she was a girl.)
3) Stephen gets a shot at the spotlight. He loves to join in on this Universal Intro with a loud "BOOM BOOM". It makes us laugh, but writing about it makes me realize that it is a poor reflection of how we spend out time - apparently we've been watching a lot of Universal movies and/or TV shows from Netflix lately (including Psych and Monk). So, I sat down and added a bunch of movies that were recently highlighted by Ignatius Press in their recent film catalog. Bernadette came today.
4) This one is just cute, to leave you with a smile. Anthony dressed up in Teresa's 'Joan of Arc' armor on Friday. He called to me, "Mom, come help get my army on. I'm going to be Jonah of Arc!"
