This chicken is 15 weeks old. She is healthy. She is huge. She sleeps on the floor of the chicken coop because she's too big to get up and roost with all the other chickens, but she runs across the yard when I come out with carrot peels and other vegetable scraps or the kids toss them some cat food, which they love. I don't know how much longer we can press our luck...should we see how long she will live or put her in the freezer for Thanksgiving dinner?

Well since you asked, I would vote to pardon her from extermination as long as her health is good. She is such a lovely bird.:)
