Yesterday we celebrated the Third Sunday of Advent with a tradition from mom's side of the family: setting up the Christmas tree. We have adapted it slightly so that we do not decorate the tree until Christmas Eve, although we do put the lights on it. Each year, the kids love helping daddy "make the tree" and are always mesmerized by the colorful lights.
Apparently, Anthony just couldn't wait another whole week to decorate and found a great assortment of ornaments in mommy's laundry basket.
Mom and dad got such a kick out of it that the girls decided they'd better help him with the branches he couldn't reach and joyfully decorated the tree.
