yard cleanup

Spring and fall are the two best times of the year to do big cleanup projects. In Fall of 2006, Adam cut down this old elm tree. It heated our home this winter for about a week and a half. This weekend, I finally got the last few logs, broken branches, and bark cleaned up from this corner of the yard. A few weeks ago, Adam cut down three more big elms on the south side of the house (they should provide about a month of heat next winter). We've already done most of the clean up; it won't be a year and a half this time around!
