...May flowers!
I love the close up pictures of flowers that I've seen during the April shower of photos. I've never been able to get good pictures of flowers, but I've finally tried to learn how to use the settings on my camera, rather than the AUTO point and shoot with or without flash. That's how I got those pictures of froggy yesterday and so I tried my hand at some flower closeups today. I'll likely post the best in honor of Mary on Saturdays, but here is one I managed to take in spite of the wind for Ascension Thursday as we join Mary in the upper room with a Pentecost Novena.
Amelanchier. This gets lovely, edible berries on it in the summer, if we can beat the birds to them!
