Réquiem ætérnam

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord; and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen.

This is a picture of my grandparents in June 2001 at our wedding. They celebrated their 55th anniversary the night before at our rehearsal dinner. My brother got married 5 years later in 2006 on the same weekend. We'd planned on celebrating their 60th anniversary with the whole family; but at the last minute, Grams couldn't come. Her dementia / Alzheimer's got steadily worse from that point on and this morning, almost three and a half years later, her suffering in this world has ended. Please pray for the repose of her soul.

Also, remember my Gramps, her husband of 63 years; her 4 surviving children and their spouses; 7 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and all who loved her in your prayers.
