We've been enjoying our babymoon (the period of time that parents spend bonding with a recently-born baby rather than the vacation parents take before the baby is born) I am finding it hard to believe that it will soon be over and Adam will be back at work instead of at home taking care of everything for me ... and enjoying a few well-deserved naps with Michaela.
He's helping the kids get into a routine that involves a lot more helping mom, for which I'm very thankful. Catherine would be content to hold Michaela all day. Teresa wants lots of short opportunities to hold, hug, and kiss her, but doesn't like to sit still with her very long...and has proven to be a very willing and hard worker. Anthony asks to hold her once in a while but would rather be helping us do anything. Stephen is always asking to hold his baby sister and we let him as much as we can, with help...although I have come to realize how BIG Stephen has gotten and just how much he has grown up since we have a newborn to compare him to. He's still a little bit young to be much 'real' help, though.
