pre-school
On Monday, I went through some capital letter flash cards with Stephen. He almost knew them all. He made one little mistake - calling 'W' 'M'. Today we went through the lowercase letters. He wasn't sure about 'g' the first time through, but got it on the second round and also corrected calling 'l', 'I'. He didn't know 'a' either time. The other letter he didn't know was funny. The first time through he called 'd' 'b'. I showed him both and asked him to name them again and he called both of them 'b'. I said, "That's silly, they can't both be 'b'! This one is 'd'." The second time through he paused at 'd', looked at me and said, "It can't be 'b'!"
