Catherine was very excited to receive her First Holy Communion on Sunday, April 6th. The weather was beautiful and my dad took a few pictures outside before Mass.
She wore the dress that her Aunt Clare wore and Grandma had a new crown of flowers made for her. This was Clare with her parents in 2004.
Catherine was in one of the biggest First Communion classes we've had for a while in our small parish. We were one of 5 families but there were 7 First Communicants (our neighbors have triplets who were born just 2 months before Catherine).
It was a little windy after Mass, but I wanted to try to get one outdoor picture, myself. She received some very nice First Communion gifts from the Parish, particularly a Child's Mass book and First Communion rosary.
My dad captured this beautiful smile back at home...full of grace!

Aww what a special day. Its so sweet she got to use the same dress as Claire:)
I guess triplets really help the count go up fast;D
